Mission

To execute comprehensive activities for the eradication of poliomyelitis across the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Core Objective

To move from a "Polio-Free" status regarding Wild Poliovirus to the total elimination of all variants of the virus (cVDPV).

Global Partnership

The initiative is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Health of the DRC, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI).

Protecting Every Child, Every Village.

Action Santé Communautaire(ASC) is a community-based nonprofit organization working in Lubumbashi, DRC, to protect vulnerable children from vaccine-preventable diseases, especially polio. Founded by Dr. Franck Monga, ASC mobilizes local leaders, educates families, and strengthens trust between communities and the health system. We believe no child should suffer from a disease that can be prevented.
